2002 SP Authentic baseball card set was produced by Upper Deck,
that consists of 170 baseball cards that measure 2-1/2" by
3-1/2" The base set
consists of 90 cards. Cards numbered 1 - 90 featured veterans, cards number 91
- 135 are Future Watch and were printed to a stated
print run of 1999 serial numbered sets. Cards numbered
136 - 170 were signed by the player and most of the
cards were printed to a stated print run of 999 serial
numbered sets. Cards number 146, 152 and 157 were
printed to a stated print run of 249 serial numbered
sets. Update
cards 171-230 were distributed within packs of 2002
Upper Deck Rookie Update. Cards 201-230 continued the
Future Watch subset (focusing on rookies and prospects)
and each card was serial numbered to 1999.
