Topps Fan Fare Token Card

In October 2003, Topps released a 150 card World Series tribute set. The third and final Topps Tribute product released in 2003, this set commemorates the 100th anniversary of the World Series and focuses on players who played in at least one World Series.

Each pack contained one Relic card and each sealed Hobby box came with a Subway Series Fan Fare Token card, that featured an authentic New York City Subway token sealed into it. Replaced by Metro cards, 2003 was the last year such tokens were used on the New York Subway system. All cards are of either New York Yankees or Brooklyn Dodgers, and are numbered, SSF- followed by the player's initials.
