NOTES:

Harry Caray's Restaurant Group began when the first Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse opened in Chicago's River North neighborhood in 1987. Located at 33 W. Kinzie St. it was once home to the notorious enforcer of the Al Capone gang, Frank Nitti. He lived in an apartment on the fourth floor with his wife Annette, who’s family owned the building. Harry Caray was a radio and television broadcaster, covering Major League Baseball teams beginning with a long tenure calling the games of the St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Athletics, and the Chicago White Sox before ending his career as the announcer for the Chicago Cubs.

Harry Caray's Restaurant had been designated the Official Home Plate of the Chicago Cubs. The bar is 60 feet, 6 inches long, the exact distance from the pitcher's mound to home plate. The restaurant houses 1,500 pieces of baseball memorabilia, including a bat autographed by Sammy Sosa during the period in 1998 when he set a record with 20 home runs in a single month, as well as items from Stan Musial, Ernie Banks, Hank Aaron, Ted Williams and others.

The front of the "Caray" Out menu features both of the Harry Caray's Restaurant logos. At the bottom is a welcome note from Caray that reads:

Hello again, everybody - Welcome to the friendly confines of Harry Caray's. I've wanted a place like this for a long time-a place where I could hang out, relax and talk sports with my friends. Well, here it is and I'm glad you can be apart of it. You know, after all all those years on the road dinning out, I acquired a taste for really good food. I think this menu shows you what I mean-there's prime steaks, classic Italian, good drink, and whole lot more. So sit back, relax and have a terrific time. Holy Cow, you've earned it.
Harry Caray (facsimile Signature)

The back of the heavy paper tri-fold menu lists the HC Restaurant group restaurant locations, with the inner-fold advertising Private Party booking. The Harry Caray's Restaurant Dinner Menu on the inside is divided into nine categories: Soup, Appetizers, Salads, Pasta, Sides, Steaks And Chops, Italian Favorites, Seafood, and Beverages. The third panel of the menu "Look Who's Wild About Harry's!" lists restaurant reviews, and at the bottom pictures a Shirtless Harry Caray in shorts in the booth. "HOLY COW!"
